Vivid, bittersweet and unabashedly sentimental are some of the terms used to describe the music that Jeff Landeen has crafted on his debut record release.

Independently released, copies of Glide have found their way to the UK, Australia, USA, and across Canada. Glide made its radio debut on CBC, CJSW and Alberta’s CKUA. Jeff has performed live on radio and been interviewed ‘In Studio’ with Jonathon Love on California 103, and on the ‘Key of A’ with Katherine Duncan on CBC radio. Landeen has been featured in FFWD, Beatroute magazine and performed on City TV’s ‘Breakfast Television’.

Soon after the ‘sold out’ Glide CD Release at Calgary’s Liberty Lounge, Landeen received an invitation to perform at Alberta Sessions 2007. The ‘Songwriters in the Round’ Alberta talent showcase was a recorded event for CKUA radio that garnered many new listeners to Jeff’s alt-folk vibe and candid lyrics. Joining Landeen at the Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts were other widely recognized Alberta artists.

Landeen is currently occupied writing and music-making ~ pulling down whatever’s waiting to be tapped into. New recordings and shows to follow...
